Andrew has a long career working within the third sector and, since retiring from his position as Director of Thai Children’s Trust which he led for 17 years, still actively continues his voluntary work.
He is currently Secretary of the Anglo-Thai Society in the UK and a Board Member of pointB – a charity which focuses on rebuilding education systems and community governance in Myanmar (Burma).
He recently relinquished the Chair of Trustees of Child Rescue Nepal, and was previously also Chair of Trustees of Prisoners of Conscience, served on the Committee of the Public Fundraising Regulatory Association 2001-2005 and was Deputy Chair of the Standing Conference on Drug Abuse from 1973-75.
Throughout his successful and varied work in all his charitable roles, Andrew has made an effective, wise and clear-thinking contribution – often with a touch of humour. Now with more time Andrew has reconnected with his love of cars and horses and is spending time visiting churches and Cathedrals in his camper van.
Andrew offers consultancy advice and active executive support.
