Helen is Managing Director of Youth Sport Trust International, a UK based charity which works across the globe using physical activity and sport to inspire and improve the lives of young people. She was instrumental in setting up the Youth Sport Trust in 1995 alongside philanthropist Sir John Beckwith and Olympic gold medallist Duncan Goodhew and went on to hold roles in income generation, event management and communications before moving to head up the international arm of the charity in 2015.
Helen has over 30 years’ experience in the voluntary sector, working both as a senior staff member and consultant with a number of charities including Royal National Institute for the Blind, National Meningitis Trust, NCH Action for Children and YWCA.
She has a BA Hons in English Literature from Goldsmiths’ College, University of London.
